Agency matchmaker Sortlist is expanding to the UK and expects to create 200 jobs.

The Belgium-headquartered firm’s platform and algorithm allows businesses to compare agencies and hire the right one for their project.

Already live in five markets – Belgium, France, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands – it says a new €11 million fundraising will consolidate its position as a European leader. The company has a workforce of around 100.

“Marketing, creative and web agencies are exceptionally helping the economy,” said Nicolas Finet, co-founder and CMO. “These providers are people who are specialised, who have talents, and who, behind, still lack recognition.

“We want to help them shine. On the business side, thanks to a good balance between technology and human support, we are able to position ourselves as a trusted third party.

“The fact that more than 2,000 companies around the world trust us every month is a real recognition. But this is only the beginning.”
