The cryptocurrency market took a 5% tumble in the last 24 hours, with all the major coins losing value.
Polkadot (DOT) fared the worst, dropping 8% to sit at $21.06 at the time of writing (7am UK). It is more or less where it was a week ago.
Several coins lost 7% in value: Avalanche, Cardano and Dogecoin.
Avalanche (AVAX) is around $92 yet 6% higher than its price a week ago, while Cardano (ADA) is at $1.13 and 2% down on its price last Friday morning.
Meme coin DOGE is at 13.5 cents and 1% down over seven days.
Terra (LUNA) dropped 6% to $101, leaving it 8% higher than its price seven days ago.
Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) shed 5% to below $44,750 yet remains 2% up over the course of a week.
Binance Coin (BNB) also lost 5% to $421 and is 2% up over seven days.
Ripple (XRP) is at 82c thanks to its own 5% drop which leaves it 2% down in a week.
Ethereum (ETH), the second most valuable crypto coin, lost 4% to $3,250. ETH is 4% up in a week.
Solana (SOL) only shed 1% to $121 and is 16% up in a week.
The overall market cap of the more than 18,600 coins is at $2.06 trillion, a 4.6% decrease in the last 24 hours.
