Leading names in eCommerce and digital marketing will speak at a key Manchester event in September.

The latest developments in online retail will be discussed at eCommerce Live UK on Wednesday September 14 at the UKFast Campus.

BusinessCloud editor Chris Maguire will host the event, which will see 250 attendees learn tips and secrets for success from the most successful sellers in the country.

Ex-Skype and Yahoo boss James Bilefield tops the bill, sharing his experience as a digital entrepreneur working with global brands including Conde Nast, Vanity Fair and GQ.

UKFast CEO Lawrence Jones said: “eCommerce is one of the fastest growing markets across the globe and presents an incredible opportunity.

“Anyone can open an online shop without a huge outlay, thanks to the developments in cloud technology.”

The full speaker line-up includes Matt Hunt, CEO of Apadmi Enterprise, Dr Dave Chaffey, CEO of Smart Insights and Skip Fedura, Digital Director at dotMailer.

Demonstrations of the latest technology, including virtual reality, will show attendees how to give their business a boost , and a panel is set to outline the risks and opportunities Brexit presents to the eCommerce industry.

Jones continued: “It’s massively important for online retailers to stay up to date with the latest tech and developments in user experience, because these days customers won’t accept a second-class service online.

“They’ll just go elsewhere to spend their money.

“We’ve all done it. We type a search term into Google, click on the link and before five seconds has passed, we’re clicking back to try another site because the site’s slow to load.

“You never get a second chance to make a first, fast impression.”

Jones will open eCommerce UK Live with a talk on what it takes to succeed in the digital marketplace.

The event takes place at UKFast Campus, Birley Fields, Manchester from 2-6pm.
