Buckinghamshire-headquartered RecTech firm Thomas International has appointed Sabby Gill as its new CEO.
Gill joins Thomas from Sage, where he Executive Vice President and General Manager for UK & Ireland.
Prior to joining Sage he held senior roles at Epicor Software, IGT, HP, Oracle and Peoplesoft.
He is a member of the UK&I Digital Economy Council and was a board member of TechUk, as well the North-East Regional-Vice Chair of the CBI.
Founded in 1981, Thomas International’s talent assessment platform combines technology, psychology and data to analyse human behaviour, aptitude and personality during the recruitment process.
Gill arrives at the firm ahead of the launch of its new SaaS-based talent assessment platform, and is set to help the firm capitalise on the growth opportunities.
From October he will take over from Guy Ballantine who has been Interim CEO since December 2019, and who will remain with the company as COO, a position he has held since joining the business in 2018.
Fergus Brownlee, Chairman of Thomas International commented:“[Gill] brings with him an impressive track record of success in the technology sector that will greatly assist in Thomas’s ongoing digital transformation and our journey towards becoming the leading global talent assessment platform provider.
“I would also like to thank Guy Ballantine who stepped up to the interim CEO position in December 2019 at a time of impending huge transformation for Thomas.”
Gill added: “The pending new platform launch is a key milestone for Thomas International and the team should feel very proud and extremely energised by what they have achieved thus far.
“However, having a great product is just one ingredient, add into the mix a 40 year history, an extremely committed and talented team, a solid business partner like Palamon Capital Partners and a vast global market opportunity with currently no clear dominant player, and you have a great recipe for success.”
