Manchester FinTech Raisin UK has appointed Jules di Mambro as CEO following regulatory approval from the Financial Conduct Authority.
The London-based executive succeeds Steven Amos, who leaves the firm after seven years including the last four as CEO. During his tenure, Amos played a key role in growing and scaling the UK business.
Amos leaves Raisin UK to pursue new opportunities, writing on LinkedIn: “I want to extend my deepest thanks to the entire Raisin family (past and present), our board, our partners and of course our customers, for an unforgettable journey.
“I am thrilled to pass the leadership to Jules di Mambro. I have no doubt that under his guidance, Raisin UK will continue to break new ground.”
Di Mambro brings more than 20 years of experience across financial services, corporate finance, and scaling high-growth businesses, with a track record spanning banking, FinTech, and strategic leadership.
He joins Raisin UK following his role as head of corporate development and investor relations at OakNorth, where he led M&A, shareholder transactions, and strategic initiatives – including the FinTech’s expansion into the US.
Prior to OakNorth, di Mambro spent 15 years within Goldman Sachs’s Financial Institutions Group, advising and financing banks across EMEA. During this time, he developed extensive experience working with financial institutions across the region and navigating complex financial and regulatory environments.
As CEO, di Mambro will lead the next phase of Raisin UK’s growth, building on the business’s position in the UK savings market and overseeing its continued development. He will also lead the establishment of Raisin UK’s new London office.
“The UK is a key market for Raisin and we see significant opportunity to continue building our presence here,” said Dr Tamaz Georgadze, CEO and co-founder at Raisin. “Jules brings an exceptional combination of financial services expertise, strategic acumen, and first-hand knowledge of scaling ambitious fintech businesses, making him ideally placed to lead Raisin UK through its next phase of growth. We’re delighted to welcome him to the team.”
Di Mambro said: “Raisin has built a strong proposition in the UK savings market, and I’m excited to join the business at such an important point in its development.
“There is a significant opportunity to build on the foundations already in place, further strengthen Raisin UK’s position in the market, and continue connecting savers with a broad range of savings options. I’m looking forward to working with the team and our partners as we take the business into its next phase of growth.”
