Epassi, Europe’s leading digital employee benefits platform, has appointed Antonio Barradas as regional managing director.

The company serves 36 million employees, 50,000 employers and more than 100,000 service providers across Europe, giving employees access to benefits including discounted gym memberships and health assessments.

Barradas has led Epassi’s Netherlands business for the past three years, growing its customer network to more than 5,000 businesses.

He now takes on broader regional responsibility, encompassing Epassi’s UK operation and Zest, the employee benefits platform acquired in June 2025, with an explicit mandate to scale Zest internationally.

Zest snapped up by Finnish FinTech Epassi Group

The acquisition of Surrey-based Zest was part of Epassi’s strategy to realise its vision of becoming the leading European technology platform for the employee benefits and engagement ecosystem.

Barradas brings a strong track record in cross-regional growth, with more than a decade of senior leadership experience at Just Eat Takeaway and RELX Group.

He said: “These are three strong businesses that have grown up apart. The Netherlands has shown what a real multi-benefit platform does to engagement.

“The UK has the reach and the merchant network. Zest has the technology HR teams actually want. My job is to make each one better by using what the others have already built, and to prove that these products travel.”

Nickyl Raithatha, CEO of Epassi Group, said: “Antonio has a clear record of growing businesses across multiple markets. This regional structure gives us the right platform to accelerate that work by taking our strongest products to new markets and deepening what we offer to employers everywhere. He is the right person to lead that.”

Epassi thanked Matt Russell, who built and scaled Zest as CEO ahead of its acquisition by Epassi in 2025.
