Swedish unicorn Legora has acquired London-based fact intelligence platform Wexler AI – its fifth acquisition of 2026.
Founded in January 2023, Wexler has grown to 18 people, expanded revenue eightfold year on year, and achieved more than 400 per cent net revenue retention.
Its engineering team will form the founding team of Legora’s London engineering hub.
In March 2026, Legora was valued at $5.5bn after announcing a $550m Series D fundraise, led by Accel.
Legora (formerly known as Leya) was founded in 2023 and has built an AI-powered legal platform.
Max Junestrand, CEO and co-founder of Legora, said: “Every dispute and every investigation comes down to the facts, and finding them is often the most manual and expensive part of legal work.
“As agentic systems take on more of that work, fact queries won’t just grow, they’ll multiply by orders of magnitude. Wexler is the infrastructure built to handle that scale today.”
Gregory Mostyn, CEO and co-founder of Wexler, said: “Fact-lawyering is the most challenging part of disputes work: the endless, painstaking review needed to map the facts, the issues and the characters into a compelling theory of the case.
“Building the case brain has never been harder, and it has never mattered more.”
Wexler’s engine runs documents through a gated pipeline that isolates discrete, verifiable happenings – who said what, to whom, when and why it matters to the case – rather than returning summaries or loosely sourced excerpts, at a scale of more than 1,000,000 documents per case.
Mostyn co-founded Wexler with Kush Madlani in 2023.
He said: “We rifled through a million and one ideas before realising litigation was the obvious choice. It is in my blood. Kush brought deep experience and, crucially, real AI expertise from his work building computer vision to detect insurance claims. That combination became Wexler.
“Joining Legora means taking that ambition to 1,500 customers and 100,000 users overnight, working alongside brilliant people around the world. We’re excited to make Fact Intelligence an integral part of the Legora product and story.”
