Jacob & Harley Nelson are the brothers who became social media stars and single-handedly made jacket potatoes sexy. It was Ernie Rhodes who set up his hot potato cart on the Preston Flag Market in 1955. It has been passed down as a family-run business ever since. The Nelson family took over in 2020. When Jacob joined Harley in the family business the Hot Potato Tram became the SpudBros. They started going live on TikTok and now have 5m followers. SpudBros are now sponsors of Preston North End and have ambitious growth plans.
