Baltic Ventures appoints Carl Wong as CEO

“Having been diagnosed with a rare form of stomach cancer two years ago, it was Tom’s wish to keep working and live as normally as he could for as long as he could. That time came to an end last month.

“Tom was not someone who habitually posted on LinkedIn, so we have thought long and hard about whether to place a tribute here.

“If any one thing changed our mind, it is the kindness, love and support shown to him and to us – by clients past and present, and former colleagues – during what has been a very difficult period.

“We have been deeply touched, but never more so than today, on the occasion of his funeral, when we feel both the weight of losing him and the fortune of having known him.

“Suffice to say, the world feels a poorer place without our dryly humorous Evertonian – a true music aficionado and book-loving student of the world. Tom, it was a privilege.”

Gillian Dannenberg said: “What a lovely tribute for a very special person, gone too soon.”
