The BBC has confirmed that hit show Dragons’ Den will return later this month for its 23rd series.

Four guest investors will join long-standing Dragons  Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman and Steven Bartlett as the programme recommences on 29th January.

Gary Neville will return as a guest investor after previously featuring on the programme in 2024.

He will be joined by three first-time guest Dragons, who have been revealed as rapper Tinie Tempah, Tropic Skincare founder Susie Ma and REFY CEO Jenna Meek.

Seven new episodes have been scheduled initially and further instalments are due later in the year.

The refreshed line-up follows the departure of Sara Davies, who confirmed in March 2025 that she was stepping away from the show after joining the Den in 2019.

She left to focus on her role reviving Crafter’s Companion – the business she founded as a student at the University of York – which fell into administration just over a year ago.

During her six years on the show, Davies notably invested in companies including Sibstar, Good Wash Day and My Chocolate Shop.

However, speaking at a BusinessCloud event in May, she revealed that the door may still be open for a return to the show in the future.

“For the last six years, I’ve managed to juggle my business requirements with Dragons’ Den,” she told BusinessCloud in May.

“The problem is, if I have to work full-time for the business (Crafter’s Companion), I haven’t got the time to commit to Dragons’ Den, which doesn’t need my full time but it needs damn near close to it.

“You see the tip of the iceberg – filming the shows and investing in the businesses. You don’t see the monumental amount of work that comes with being a part of up to a dozen companies’ journeys thereafter.

“It was a huge decision to leave because it’s a really big part of who I am. I agreed with the producers that I couldn’t commit to it for 2025, but that doesn’t mean I’m closing the door on the Den forever.”
