IRIS Software Group has appointed a new CFO and president for North America.

The provider of accountancy, payroll, HR and education solutions has named Jens Ulrik Knudsen as its finance chief.

Knudsen brings 20 years of international experience in scaling finance functions for high-growth businesses. Most recently, he served as interim group CFO of Aceve, a private equity-backed SaaS platform.

Prior to Aceve, Knudsen was CFO at Globus Wine, leading a full strategic and financial overhaul that improved profitability. 

Meanwhile Shemin Nurmohamed (pictured) will lead the company’s North American expansion as president and GM, Americas.

A figure with over 25 years’ experience scaling technology and SaaS businesses across global markets, she was previously president of sending technology solutions at Pitney Bowes, where she led a $1.3 billion division. 

Prior to that, she spent 17 years with IBM in EMEA, where she served in global finance and operational leadership roles, including CFO for IBM Systems.

Nurmohamed joined the team at the start of this month, with Knudsen assuming his role on 2nd January. 

Michael Cox, who served as CFO for seven years, is leaving the company. Jim Dunham is also departing after three years of spearheading IRIS’s expansion in North America.
