Travel Counsellors, the UK’s largest and fast-growing technology platform for travel entrepreneurs, has reported record-breaking sales during peaks.
Group sales for January reached £138m, an 11 per cent increase year-on-year, making it both the best January on record and the biggest sales month in the company’s history.
Throughout the month, 15 of the company’s top 20 sales days of all time were recorded, including its highest single day of sales of £7.8m on January 31st.
A total of £75m came from the premium leisure market, which experienced a 19 per cent rise in sales.
Last year the company topped £1bn in sales – and is looking to hit £2bn in five years.

Additionally, over 300 Travel Counsellors celebrated their best-ever month, while 125 TCs achieved total sales of over £200,000 in January.

The most popular leisure destinations in January included the Mediterranean, USA, Indian Ocean, Southeast Asia and the Caribbean. On the corporate travel side, the USA, Domestic and the Middle East ranked as the top choices for business clients.
Meanwhile, corporate travel continues to see robust growth, with UK corporate sales reaching £23.3m.

In the year to October 31, 2023, Total Transaction Value (TTV) on the platform was more than £940m, up more than 30 per cent against the prior year.
