Luxury British clothing brand Burberry has appointed Costa Coffee tech officer Charlotte Baldwin as its CIO.

She will take up the role at the end of March 2025 and will lead the London-based giant’s global technology team.

Baldwin is currently the global chief digital and information officer at Costa Coffee, where she oversees the company’s technology, digital and data organisation. 

She previously held the same role at Bupa Insurance, and has worked in senior roles at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Pearson and Thomson Reuters.

“Whilst I am sad to say goodbye to my team and colleagues at Costa, the time has come for a new chapter,” said Baldwin.

“I am thrilled to be joining Burberry as CIO at the end of March, helping to drive the company’s strategy forward.”
