A London-based startup which allows users to chat with the digital twins of celebrities and content creators has raised £3.7m in seed funding.
Oh is collaborating with celebrities including actresses Carmen Electra and Kaili Thorne (pictured together on the latter’s Instagram account) and internet personality Rio Sage to promote and monetise its AI agents.
Its flagship product ‘OhChat’ has nearly 10,000 users across 174 countries and allows online creators to develop autonomous characters – ‘superModels’ – that engage with users, generating revenue.
These AI agents have the ability to interact with followers and grow their own social media presence, developing personalities based on these continuous online interactions.
The startup said 80% of revenue from content goes to the creator of the character.
“By combining AI’s ability to generate and personalise content with the power to create communities with agentic capabilities, built on the decentralization and censorship resistance of Web3, traditional systems simply can’t compete,” said Oh co-founder and CEO Nic Young.
“It’s a paradigm shift for creators, consumers and investors alike.”

Founded in 2022, Oh’s chats are uncensored. Young said being open to offering these services and having the confidence of knowing that it is ‘the right thing’ to do is key.
He continued: “Most people in this space stay in the shadows – we’re super confident and secure that we’re doing the right thing here, so we have our names and faces associated with it, as do our VCs.
“The key to their profitability lies in the integration of superModels with globally recognised creators and celebrities.”
The round included investment from Tangent, Big Brain Holdings, Kosmos Ventures, Tagus Capital and Bodhi Ventures, alongside Yan Liberman from Delphi Ventures.
