An event to discuss some of the transformation work taking place across Greater Manchester will be held at the home of Stockport County FC on November 23rd.
‘Transformation GM’ is a free half-day conference and will discuss a range of issues including tech and innovation, strategy and culture; and education.
Tech giant Sharp is sponsoring the event, which is being help in partnership with Stockport County and Marketing Stockport.
It will be hosted by award-winning journalist Chris Maguire, who is the executive editor of BusinessCloud and TechBlast.
Speakers include Steve Oliver, CEO of Stockport-headquartered musicMagpie, who is also the chair of Stockport Economic Alliance and Amman Ahmed, who sold his Manchester-based MusicForPets – described as the Netflix for pets or ‘Petflix’ – to Hollywood hip-hop giant Create Music Group for an eight figure sum earlier this year.
As well as discussing some of the transformation projects taking place across Greater Manchester, the event will help delegates increased competitiveness, improve profitability and boost long-term sustainability.
Transformation GM is broken down into four panels and will be an opportunity to learn from experts on how transformation can drive growth and enhance business performance.
