Not a single one of the top 100 most valuable cryptocurrencies has dropped in value in the last 24 hours.
At the time of writing (7am), Ripple’s XRP coin was a big winner, climbing 20% since Monday morning to hit $1.08.
It had dropped as low as 91 cents on Friday morning despite setting a record valuation of $1.91 a few weeks ago.
Ethereum (ETH) enjoyed an excellent 24 hours, rising 17% to $2,708. Ether is 5% up on this time last week but way below its record price of $4,300, set in May.
Bitcoin (BTC) is above $37,300 after climbing 8%. However it is 3% down on its price seven days ago.
Dogecoin (DOGE), the coin created as a crypto parody and based on a meme – and backed for great things by Tesla CEO Elon Musk – rose 14% to just under 34c and is 4% down compared with a week ago.
Litecoin (LTC) was up 13% to almost $187. The altcoin – billed as a lighter and faster version of Bitcoin – is up 3% in a week.
Kusama (KSM), Aave (AAVE) and THORChain (RUNE) saw gains of more than 20%, with a host of other coins closely following.
