North West-based Property Hub has relocated to Manchester city centre as it plans to double its team over the next 12 months.
Previously located in Warrington, the firm is now based in Clayton House in Piccadilly Gardens.
Founded in 2014, Property Hub was founded by Rob Bence and Rob Dix to advice people on how to become investors through a series of podcasts, online courses and member’s forum.
The relocation also coincides with a complete overhaul of its brand as they merge all four divisions of their property business – sales, lettings, tax advisory and construction – into one group.
The pair said the office move and rebrand has kick-started Property Hub’s ambitious growth plans.
“Manchester city centre was a natural choice for us,” said Bence. “We wanted to be right in the thick of the action and choose somewhere that would allow us to access the best talent and grow our employee numbers by at least 50 per cent.
“We’ve not done too badly considering we started off as two friends who launched a property podcast.”
The pair both worked in property before embarking on their venture, as Bence started his own investment consultancy in 2011 and Dix launched his own website – Property Geek – and podcast in 2012.
They met when Dix invited Bence to be a guest on his podcast and discovered a mutual love for property and business.
Dix added: “We wanted to completely demystify property investment at a time when companies were charging thousands to attend training courses.
“We gave all our content away for free and since then we’ve grown from just me in a bedroom, to having offices in Manchester and London with over 50 members of staff.
“Now we’ve firmly planted ourselves in Manchester city centre, we can continue to ramp up our efforts to educate as many people as possible about Britain’s much-loved topic of property.”
The Property Podcast has over 200,000 monthly unique downloads while the company’s online community is now over 34,000 strong.
