Lisa Simmons, clinical implementation lead, Orcha
Lisa is a highly specialist Speech and Language Therapist by background and has worked within a number of NHS and Local Authority teams, as well as private practice and telehealth. Through her clinical background, Lisa became interested in technology to support clinical practice including improving outcomes and patient experience.
Lisa moved to ORCHA in December 2018 with a desire to use her clinical background to embrace digital health. At ORCHA, Lisa’s main responsibilities lie with the implementation of ORCHA sites and packages; by working closely with clients across a variety of areas including NHS Trust, CCGs, councils and charities.
Lisa is also the programme lead for ORCHA’s Digital Healthy Schools programme (@DH_Schools), which is an innovative package designed to provide schools with the tools to educate and empower our young people about safe use of mobile health. This supports local and national NHS and education initiatives around preventative measures, digital technology to improve population health and well-being, and targeting young people’s mental health.
