Bitcoin has added $3,000 since Friday morning despite falling back 3% in the last 24 hours.

At the time of writing (7am UK), market-leading cryptocurrency BTC is around $43,500 and 9% up in a week.

Ethereum (ETH), the world’s second most valuable crypto, is just below $3,000 having dropped 6% in the last 24 hours. However it is $150 up since Friday morning and 14% higher than its price seven days ago.

Cardano (ADA) is 4 cents higher than Friday, at $1.41, despite a 4% fall since Sunday morning. It is 6% up in a week.

Ripple’s XRP coin sits at 79c, 6c higher than Friday, despite a 4% drop in 24 hours. It is 7% up over seven days.

Binance Coin (BNB) is at $340, up $6 on three days ago, and 3% up on last Monday’s price. It has lost 4% in the last 24 hours.

‘PayPal for crypto’ secures FCA registration

Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) has gained 4c since Friday and is at 24 cents despite a huge 10% fall since Sunday morning. It is 16% up over seven days.

The cryptocurrency market is now worth a collective $1.76 trillion, compared with $1.66tr on Friday morning. However, the 11,000+ coins dropped 2% in value in the last 24 hours.
